Good Morning Myrtle Beach 🙂
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to spend 24 hours in Myrtle Beach? Let me tell you, it’s a lot. The sun is shining, the seagulls are chirping and sitting atop the balcony railing. You slide open the door and your view is of the blue Atlantic Ocean. You look left and right and only see miles of beach and slight morning fog. Ding goes the coffee pot letting you know that your coffee is ready. The caffeine rush stimulates your mind and gets you going for the day of adventures ahead.
You change into your favorite bathing suit and head down to the beach. The warm soft sand touches your feet and the instant feeling of “I am on Vacation” hits your soul. Scanning the beach for the best spot is easily the hardest decision to make today. You spot a family of 5 to the left and a couple sitting to your right with a perfect spot right in between for you to park your chair and tan for the next couple of hours. An hour in and you start to feel parched. Your ears channel into the music starting to play from the outdoor tiki bar which means it’s time for a drink. It’s 5 O’clock somewhere!
Lunch Time
Lunch is just around the corner and the feeling of hunger comes to the surface. There are plenty of cuisines to choose from and so many restaurants nearby! Hot Stacks Pancake House, Damon’s Steak House, Calabash Seafood Buffet, and Banditos are just a few of your many options. After your day of self-care and absorbing the sun, you take a long relaxing nap and start to plan your nighttime activities.
Wine and Dine
At night, Myrtle Beach offers a range of venues to attend from nightclubs like Bar Louie, to craft beer bars like The Atlas and Crooked Hammock. If you don’t like to drink alcoholic beverages, there are other activities like the Sky Wheel on the Boulevard or Brookgreen Gardens on the south end of Myrtle Beach! The flow of the night takes you to the Crooked Hammock. You spend the evening eating delicious foods like their beer can chicken with roasted Brussel sprouts and carrots. You drink the famous Beach Escape which is similar to a Blue Moon but not as heavy feeling while swinging on the hammocks that are set outside. The breeze off the Intercoastal Waterway provides the best natural A/C as the evening ticks forward. You Uber back to your resort satisfied with your first day in Myrtle Beach. Excitement fills you up as you realize this may be the best vacation you’ve ever been on. With even more adventures to be had in the days to come a smile brightens your face, and you can peacefully fall asleep knowing today was a great day.
