POSITION OVERVIEW
As a UTG Travel Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting guests in booking their dream vacations, whether on a luxury cruise or an exciting land getaway. You’ll work directly with guests to ensure seamless travel arrangements, provide expert guidance, and enhance their overall vacation experience through exceptional service and upselling opportunities.

Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist guests with booking cruises and land vacations, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.
- Provide top-tier Guest service by handling inquiries, addressing concerns, and delivering personalized recommendations.
- Utilize travel knowledge to inform guests about various destinations, cruise lines, resorts, and vacation packages.
- Upsell vacation upgrades, additional services, and premium experiences to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Process reservations with attention to detail, ensuring all guest information is accurate (travel dates, accommodations, cruise cabins, etc.).
- Navigate booking systems and CRMs efficiently to manage reservations and guest interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the booking process or while guests are traveling.
Ideal Qualifications
- Guest Service Excellence – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to provide outstanding guest experiences.
- Travel & Tourism Knowledge – Familiarity with cruise lines, resorts, hotels, and vacation packages.
- Sales & Upselling Experience – Proven ability to sell vacation packages, offer upgrades, and meet sales targets.
- Attention to Detail – Precision in booking travel arrangements and ensuring guest information is accurate.
- Tech-Savviness – Comfortable using booking software, CRMs, and other travel-related platforms.
- Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to quickly adapt to changes and assist guests with itinerary modifications or unexpected challenges.
